Martin Odegaard has produced what can only be described as a moment of pure footballing genius to assist Leandro Trossard for a vital late goal at the London Stadium.
With 83 minutes played and frustration mounting for the league leaders, the Gunners captain took matters into his own hands to unlock a stubborn West Ham defense and keep Arsenal’s title charge firmly on track.

The win will be a massive step for an Arsenal side that has shown incredible resilience in the face of pressure.

West Ham defeat saves Leeds and Nottingham Forest from relegation
While the result is a dream for Arsenal, it is a nightmare for West Ham. The Hammers remain rooted in the 18th position on 36 points, one point behind Tottenham with only two games left to play.
Crucially, West Ham’s failure to secure points today has massive implications for the bottom half of the table.
The result officially guarantees Premier League safety for Leeds United and Nottingham Forest.
Both clubs, sitting on 43 points, are now mathematically beyond the reach of the Hammers.
While Leeds and Forest fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief, West Ham must now prepare for a do-or-die battle against Tottenham to avoid the drop to the Championship.
