Liverpool agree to $163M deal for PSG forward Bradley Barcola
by Alex Butler · UPIAug. 27 (UPI) -- Liverpool agreed to a $163 million pact for Paris Saint-Germain's Bradley Barcola.
Sources told ESPN, Sky Sports and The Athletic about the agreement in principle, which includes at least $116 million guaranteed, on Thursday.
The 23-year-old French forward totaled 11 goals and an assist over 29 appearances during the 2025-26 Ligue 1 campaign. He netted two scores, with four assists, over 16 Champions League appearances to help the Parisians win their title.
Barcola, who made his senior level debut in 2021 at Lyon, joined the Parisians in 2023. He totaled 39 goals and 35 assists over 151 total appearances for the club.
Barcola also scored three times, with one assist, for France over eight appearances at the 2026 World Cup.
Liverpool, who opened the 2026-27 Premier League campaign with a 2-2 draw with Newcastle, will host Nottingham Forest at 7:30 a.m. EDT Saturday at Anfield in Liverpool, England.
