Debenhams halves price of 'stunning' Christmas tree to under £70 and it is 'ideal for smaller homes'

It's that time of year again and Christmas lovers are rummaging through their lofts and garages to retrieve their trees and kick-start the festive season. However, if your tree has seen better days or you're looking to upgrade, there are numerous impressive variations available, including this Neo 7ft Half Christmas Tree.

This ingenious design offers the appearance and ambiance of a full Christmas tree while saving valuable space for those with limited room. What's more, Debenhams has recently applied a huge discount, slashing the price by 54 per cent from £149.98 to £69.

The half-tree design features a flat back, allowing it to be placed in areas where a full tree would look out of place, such as against a wall or in a corner. According to Debenhams, this makes it "ideal for small spaces like apartments, offices, or homes where a full-sized tree might not fit".

Despite its smaller size, the tree still stands at an impressive 7 feet tall, ensuring it will make a festive statement in any room. Debenhams notes: "The base is sturdy and ensures the tree remains stable when fully decorated. The tree's branches are coated with a white, fluffy substance that replicates the appearance of snow. The flocking is evenly distributed across the branches, giving the tree a frosted, wintry look."

While no reviews have been left to date, it's worth noting that this isn't the most budget-friendly option available, as reported by the Mirror. Amazon offers a smaller 4ft half tree for £49.99, while Argos provides an even more affordable option, selling a 6ft half tree reduced from £30 to £22.50.

Commenting on the Argos tree, one shopper said: "This tree stands up to the wall, no rear branches pushing it forward into the room, no need to decorate the back, good height, 6ft. The packaged box is not heavy and is only about 3ft long, so stores easily, Looks great when decorated, had some good comments off visitors. It is just right for a smaller room, good quality, so pleased that i opted for this one, definitely recommended, I love it."

However another shopper wrote: "Don’t like at all, have had a half tree before and it was lovely. This is bare and boring and due to the stand shape it does not butt up against the wall nicely."
