AH Real Deal: The Govee RGBIC floor lamp is $55 for Black Friday
by Justin Diaz · Android HeadlinesAmazon has slashed the price of the Govee RGBIC smart floor lamp for Black Friday, bringing the cost down from its original price of $99.99 to just $54.99 instead. That’s nearly half off which is a pretty good price point for something with this many features. Smart floor lamps can be expensive but Govee’s mission was to bring these products to market for a more affordable price.
Now that Black Friday prices are in full swing, this lamp is cheaper than it’s ever been. This is the all-time low price for it which means you won’t find it for less.
What’s nice about these lamps is that they’re completely controllable through your smartphone. You simply need to connect the lamps to your Wi-Fi network via the Govee companion app. From there, you can control every aspect of the lamp.
You can use the app to turn them off, dim the lights, or even change the colors. These lamps also have the capability to be set up on timers. Say you want the lamps to turn on at a certain time when you wake up in the morning. All you have to do is set up the schedules in the app and when that time hits, the lamps will turn on (or off if you set up a schedule for bedtime).
You can also choose from tons of different scenes to fit the occasion. If you want something more colorful for parties, you’ll find plenty of options. There’s even a music mode where the lights interact with your music. Now while all of these features can be controlled through the app, the lamp does support Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. This makes it possible for you to control the lamp with your voice if you want to be hands-free.
