Chiefs exit does the trick for Ntwari?

Goalkeeper called up for AFCON qualifiers
Ntwari has been called up to the Rwanda squad, where he could make his first appearance for his country since the 3-0 defeat to Bafana Bafana in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in October 2025.
Rwanda are set to take on Liberia and Cape Verde in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers this month — fixtures that could mark a significant milestone for the shot-stopper on the international stage.

Game time on the rise at Kruger
Ntwari has seen an uptick in game time at his new club Kruger United, where he will spend the rest of the season on loan from Chiefs.
When announcing his loan exit in July, Chiefs acknowledged that the goalkeeper needed to be playing more.
“Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari will join Mpumalanga-based Kruger United on a season-long loan in the upcoming 2026/27 campaign,” Amakhosi wrote in a statement on 21 July, 2026.
“The move gives the Rwandan international a chance to gain valuable game time while contributing to the ambitions of the newly promoted outfit in the Betway Premiership.”
A new boss to impress
Before joining Chiefs, Ntwari was his country's undisputed number one under then-manager Adel Amrouche. However, in March 2026, Rwanda appointed Stephane Constantine as their new head coach — meaning Ntwari is yet to play under the new boss and will be eager to make a strong impression if handed the opportunity during this month's qualifiers.
