The All Blacks have named their team to face the Springboks in the third Test in the Greatest Rivalry Series at FNB Stadium on Saturday, with Asafo Aumua starting at hooker.

Asafo Aumua at hooker will start with Samisoni Taukei’aho on the replacements bench as Codie Taylor drops out of the squad.

At lock, Sam Darry will partner Tupou Vaa’i, Peter Lakai starts in the No 6 jersey, while Wallace Sititi comes onto the bench.

Rennie paid tribute to Vaa'i, who starts for the 50th time for New Zealand.

“Tupes is a top man. It’ll be a special day for him and his family and additional motivation for us,” Rennie said.

“With both teams heading into the third Test one apiece, there’s everything to play for on Saturday.”

“The team that doesn’t win this weekend can’t win the series.  That’s the kind of challenge we love to rise to.

“The team is feeling fresh after a full week’s lead in to the game and we can’t wait to put everything out on the park.”
