Thimmegowda lodged the complaint at Rajajinagar police station, alleging that the group created a disturbance at his house and issued threats.
by News Desk · The Siasat DailyBengaluru: A fresh controversy has emerged in the dispute between actor Dhanveer Gowda and Vijayalakshmi, wife of actor Darshan, after Dhanveer’s father, Thimmegowda, accused her and three associates of entering his residence and threatening the family.
Thimmegowda lodged the complaint at Rajajinagar police station, alleging that the group created a disturbance at his house and issued threats. Police have registered a Non-Cognizable Report (NCR) based on the complaint.
The alleged incident occurred on October 21 at around 8:30 pm. Dhanveer was reportedly in Mysuru at the time, while Thimmegowda was at home with his wife Bharathi, mother Jayamma and daughter Nalinakshi.
According to the complaint, Vijayalakshmi and her manager Nagaraj arrived at the house and asked where Dhanveer and his father were. The family reportedly explained that Dhanveer was away and that Thimmegowda was having dinner.
Thimmegowda alleged that Nagaraj subsequently saw a relative, Ajay Gowda, and wrongly suspected him of being a rowdy. Nagaraj allegedly raised his voice and challenged the family, threatening to bring people to the residence.
The complaint states that Vijayalakshmi then contacted Gourav Shetty and asked him to send Boja and Bottle Pramod. Nagaraj allegedly made a call as well, following which the two men reached the house within a few minutes.
When Thimmegowda asked the newcomers who they were and why they had come, Bottle Pramod reportedly claimed that he was Vijayalakshmi’s brother. He allegedly made threatening remarks concerning Dhanveer.
Thimmegowda said he told the group that he would contact the police. The visitors allegedly left together in a car soon afterwards.
In his complaint, Thimmegowda has requested that Vijayalakshmi, Nagaraj, Boja and Bottle Pramod be called for questioning and that suitable legal action be taken. The complaint specifically raises allegations of unlawful entry, disturbance and threats to the family.
The police have recorded the complaint through an NCR. Further action will depend on the inquiry and the applicable legal procedure. The allegations against the named individuals have not been independently established, and their responses to the complaint were not included in the information provided.
