LETTER: NLV airport expansion would be noisy

My guess is that most folks living in the Rancho corridor between Interstate 215 and U.S. Highway 95 have no idea what the Clark County commission is planning for the North Las Vegas Airport. Go to VGT.airportstudy.net and see. The short answer is that they plan to close Carey Avenue, extend the runway and start bringing 737s into this small field. If you think those tiny training planes are loud, just wait.

All commissioners voted to adopt this plan and three are up for re-election.
