Helicopter lands in northwest valley neighborhood, police said

A helicopter landed in a residential area in the northwest valley Sunday, police said.

The helicopter landed at a residence on the 9800 block of Solar Avenue near Centennial Hills Hospital, according to a PulsePoint alert.

Las Vegas Fire & Rescue spokesperson Jordan Moore said in an email that the Metropolitan Police Department investigated the incident and determined a homeowner had landed the helicopter at their residence. Moore said the city’s fire department received a call about the landing just after 2 p.m. Sunday.

Moore said no injuries were reported, and that Metro said no laws were broken.
