Man killed in rollover crash northeast of Las Vegas

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal rollover crash northeast of the Las Vegas Valley.

Police said in an email that the crash occurred on southbound Interstate 15 at mile marker 75, near Valley of Fire in the Moapa Valley.

Troopers responded at about 3:54 a.m. to the crash, which involved a single sedan rollover.

In an email later Friday, NHP said that the driver failed to maintain a travel lane while negotiating a curve and ran off the roadway left entering into the center dirt median.

The vehicle overturned, ejecting the unrestrained driver from the Toyota, according to police. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
