Motorcyclist involved in weekend crash in Henderson dies

A motorcyclist involved in a two-vehicle crash this weekend in Henderson has died.

The crash occurred just after 4 p.m. Saturday in the intersection of North Green Valley and Wigwam parkways, according to a Henderson Police Department news release.

Police say the motorcyclist was southbound on Green Valley at a high rate of speed. The driver of a Ford Explorer SUV was attempting to turn left onto Wigwam when the motorcyclist struck the SUV’s passenger side and was ejected, police said.

The motorcyclist was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where they died Monday. The driver of the SUV was not seriously hurt.

The name of the motorcyclist will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.
