Minor changes coming to Golden Knights TV broadcasting team

by · Las Vegas Review-Journal

Those watching Vegas Golden Knights games on Vegas 34 will see a slight change this season.

Rinkside reporter Ashali Vise will work in a limited capacity this year as she looks to spend more time with her family. Her son Jameson turns 1 year old in October.

Vise, entering her sixth season with the organization, will work select games throughout the year.

In Vise’s place will be longtime NHL reporter Jamie Hersch, who has worked with the Knights for the past few years and worked rinkside while Vise was on maternity leave. Hersch will take on an expanded role as a studio host while the team is on the road and be rinkside reporter for most home games.

Everything else will mostly remain the same. Dave Goucher and Shane Hnidy will provide play-by-play and color commentary under the Scripps Sports banner.

Daren Millard will continue host the pregame, intermission and postgame shows. Millard will be handling rinkside duties for road games.

Former Knights defenseman Alec Martinez will return as a guest analyst after making his broadcast debut with the team last season.

Dan D’Uva and Gary Lawless have already returned for their 10th seasons on the radio broadcast, now at KVGS 107.9 FM.
