Breakdown: Bishop Gorman is coming off a bye and plays at Mater Dei (California) at 7 p.m. Friday in its final scheduled out-of-state game. Liberty rolled past Desert Oasis 42-0 and hosts Foothill at 7 p.m. Friday for first place in the Division I East League. Sloan Canyon and Mater East are coming off byes and the two 4A Southern Region favorites play at 7 p.m. Thursday at Sloan Canyon.

Arbor View got its first win of the season behind Thaddeus Thatcher’s six total touchdowns in the Aggies’ 55-34 win over Centennial. Arbor View hosts Lincoln (San Diego, California) at 6 p.m. Friday. Coronado rolled past Desert Pines 46-10 and plays at Desert Oasis at 6 p.m. Friday. Palo Verde defeated Durango 38-16 and plays at Moapa Valley at 7 p.m. Friday.

Foothill QB Ryder Dobbs threw three touchdowns and added a rushing score to help the Falcons open Division I East League play with a 35-28 win over Las Vegas High. Centennial will look to bounce back after the Arbor View loss when the Bulldogs play at Mojave at 7 p.m. Friday. Moapa Valley outlasted Clark 42-35 last Friday to hand the Chargers their first loss of the season.
