Henderson police look for suspect after Costco employee, shoppers sprayed with mace

The Henderson Police Department is searching for a suspect after a Costco employee and several customers were sprayed with mace during a theft Saturday.

Authorities said in an email that at about 1:54 p.m., Henderson police responded to a report of a shoplifting at the Costco at 3411 St. Rose Parkway.

According to police, preliminary details indicate the suspect attempted to steal a laptop and, while fleeing, sprayed an employee with mace, affecting several customers as well.

Officers are searching for the suspect, police said.
