Two-vehicle highway crash in Clark County kills 1, injures 4

A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 near Moapa left a man dead and hospitalized four others on Sunday.

Nevada Highway Patrol officials said they responded to a crash involving a pickup and passenger sedan at about 6:45 p.m. on northbound I-15 at mile marker 94. Two of the people hospitalized were taken by ground ambulance and two were taken by helicopter to a local hospital, according to a release. Their identities were not immediately available.

All northbound I-15 travel lanes are closed at mile marker 94 on Sunday evening, with traffic being diverted off the highway and onto exit 93 to be turned around. Highway Patrol advised motorists to use alternate routes and avoid the area.
