Crash in east Las Vegas leaves 5 hospitalized

Police responded Saturday to a two-vehicle collision in the east Las Vegas Valley that resulted in five people being hospitalized.

The injuries of the five people ranged from minor to critical, the Metropolitan Police Department said.

The crash happened at East Lake Mead Boulevard and North Walnut Road, west of North Lamb Boulevard.

Las Vegas police asked the public to avoid the area due to lane restrictions at Lake Mead and Walnut.
