A person was injured Saturday morning after an RV that had been converted into a residence caught fire, fire officials said.

The Clark County Fire Department responded just after 10:10 a.m. to a reported RV on fire in the 2100 block of Linn Lane, near North Nellis and East Lake Mead boulevards in the northeast Las Vegas Valley, said Brian O’Neal, the department’s deputy fire chief, in an email.

The occupant of the RV was located and transported to University Medical Center.

O’Neal said that the fire threatened an adjacent home, but firefighters were able to stop it before the fire spread.

“Firefighters pulled attack lines to extinguish the fire, search the involved areas, and protect the home from fire extension,” O’Neal said.
