2 former Rebels catch on with NFL teams as undrafted free agents

No UNLV football players heard their names called from Pittsburgh, but two Rebels are still headed to the NFL after garnering free-agent deals following the conclusion of the 2026 NFL draft on Saturday.

Wide receiver Jaden Bradley is set to sign with the Washington Commanders as an undrafted free agent after playing the last two seasons of his college career at UNLV after starting with Pitt.

Bradley declared for the draft after starting in all 14 games for the Rebels in 2025 and led the team with 58 receptions for 931 yards and four touchdowns, earning All-Mountain West second team honors. He averaged 16.1 yards per catch and 76.1 all-purpose yards per game while contributing on special teams and even throwing a touchdown pass. Bradley opened the season with back-to-back 100-yard receiving performances and finished as the team’s leader in catches, receiving yards and receiving yards per game.

In reaction to his professional opportunity, Bradley simply shared a report of the news with the caption, “foot in (the) door.”

Defensive back Aamaris Brown will sign with the Detroit Lions following a standout senior campaign. In his sole season with the Rebels, Brown started 13 games in 2025 and totaled four interceptions, including two returned for touchdowns. He added 52 tackles, 3.5 sacks and a team-high seven pass breakups. Brown also set a UNLV record with interceptions in four consecutive games and tied for second on the team in sacks.

Before UNLV, Brown made stops at Kansas State and South Florida.

Now, both Rebels will look to make their marks at the professional level.
