How to watch

TV channel (Las Vegas): KMCC-TV (Ch. 34)

National TV: ESPN

Start time: 7 p.m. PT

Las Vegas viewers should start with KMCC-34, which serves as the team’s primary local broadcast partner. However, because the game is part of the NHL’s national playoff package, ESPN will carry the primary broadcast, and in many cases that feed may be exclusive.

Check your local listings, as availability can vary depending on your TV provider.

Karlsson nears return

Center William Karlsson returned to the ice for the first time in almost six months the morning of the Knights’ potential close-out Game 6 against the Utah Mammoth at Delta Center.

The 33-year-old Original Misfit did not take part in line rushes, indicating he will not play, but a sign that he’s inching closer to a return.

Dorofeyev delivers

Pavel Dorofeyev went from benched in Game 4 to a hero with a hat trick in the Golden Knights’ 5-4 double overtime win over the Utah Mammoth in Game 5 on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old has four goals in the last two games and been instrumental to the Knights being one win away from advancing to the second round.

Howden comes through in clutch

Brett Howden has three goals the last two games — two of them short-handed, the other the tying goal with 10 minutes left in regulation of Game 4 that the Knights went on to win in overtime.

He has single-handedly turned the tide in a special teams battle that was leaning in the Mammoth’s favor the first three games. Howden has scored more short-handed (two) than Utah has power play goals (one).
