The Times Square EDITION has been a chicster hangout since opening its doors in 2019. Chad Kemler, the five-star hotel’s general manager, tells us what’s happening at this tranquil escape on West 47th Street.

What’s new at The Times Square EDITION?
There’s always a bit of something new at the hotel. We’re constantly changing programming in The Lobby Bar or updating menus in our restaurants and adding new shows to Paradise Club. What I’m the most excited about is some of the fun things we have planned for the festive holiday season and New Year’s Eve!
What are some of the amenities at the hotel that make it special?
We have multiple dining options provided by Michelin-star chef John Fraser. We also offer suites with outdoor balconies overlooking Times Square, Le Labo bath products, and a gym with floor-to-ceiling windows.
What can you tell us about the rooms at the hotel?
I would describe them as calm and serene, surrounded by all the excitement of NYC. They start on the 14th floor and go all the way up the 40th. We have many amazing views, and all our suites have outdoor terraces.
Some would be surprised that you have such a beautiful outdoor space. Tell us a little about it!
We have beautiful terraces at all our dining venues. These spaces are open from spring until fall. We try and keep them open for as long as possible, until the weather is too cold to be outside. The spaces overlook Times Square and are a great place for a happy hour cocktail, afternoon coffee, or just to enjoy being outside.
Where’s the best place at The EDITION to have an after-work drink meeting?
Our lobby bar and exterior terrace is a great option for both crafted cocktails, thoughtful wines, and a vibrant atmosphere to unwind or conduct business. What’s new at Paradise Club? Are there weekly performances open to the public? We’re excited to be welcoming back “Moonrise” to the Paradise Club in September, which will run through the end of the year. Moonrise is our immersive dinner show experience. Paradise Club is also open as a nightclub on select weekends.
Is the space available to do private events?
Yes! Most any type and style of event you can think of has taken place in Paradise Club. From corporate meetings to fashion shows during NYFW to product launches, awards dinners, and galas to celebrity-led performances, Met Gala parties, and comedy shows. The space can be transformed in so many ways that it’s conducive to whatever you want it to become. The space is a state-of-the-art performance venue with top-tier lighting and sound. We also have the ability to live stream from inside the venue to different locations, including our jumbotron attached to the side of the hotel looking into Times Square.
