10 hospitalized after crash outside Denton haunted house

Police said cars were stopped along the street, waiting to turn into the haunted house.

A vehicle rear-ended another, resulting in a pile-up outside a haunted house in Denton, according to police.

10 people were taken to the hospital. One vehicle was even pushed into oncoming traffic and struck a semi-truck. Parts of University Drive (also known as Highway 380) were closed for hours.

The traffic closure ended at 11 p.m. Saturday.

The cars were lined up outside the Parker House Haunted Attraction.

At least three cars were involved as well as the semi-truck.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
