Isaias strengthens into a dangerous Category 3 hurricane as it nears Gulf Coast

Isaias is the first hurricane of the Atlantic season and was expected to usher in dangerous conditions in the Florida Panhandle, Alabama and Mississippi when it makes landfall late Friday.
