FC Dallas' Peter Musa named to Croatia's World Cup roster
Croatia will open Group Stage play against England at 'Dallas' stadium

FC Dallas has two active players representing the team at the World Cup. Don Deedson Louicius was selected to represent the Haitian men’s national team in its first FIFA World Cup appearance since 1974. Their Swedish teammate Herman Johansson did not make World Cup squad, but will be a reserve player who will join the team for its pre-tournament friendlies in Europe.
Frisco's Toyota Stadium, the home of the FC Dallas, will host Sweden as a base camp training site.
Team base camp sites are the primary training and operational headquarters for teams throughout the tournament, according to the North Texas FWC organizing committee.
Croatia is in Group F and opens the tournament against England on June 17 at 3 p.m. CT at 'Dallas' stadium in Arlington.
AT&T Stadium in Arlington, which will be renamed Dallas Stadium to comply with FIFA policy prohibiting corporate sponsorships at competition venues during the tournament, will host nine matches throughout the event. That's the most for any single venue and includes five Group Stage matches, four knockout matches and a semifinal on July 14.
Croatia also plays Panama on June 23 at 6 p.m. CT in Toronto and then Ghana on June 27 at 4 p.m. CT in Philadelphia.
Groups were determined by random draw last year, and FIFA plans to announce the 26-player official squad lists for the 48 competing teams on Tuesday, June 2. The Associated Press said the US is expected to announce its roster on May 26.
Croatia was one of the big success stories of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, defeating Japan and Brazil before ultimately falling to Argentina in the semifinals. Croatia finished third after defeating Morocco. Croatia also defeated England in the 2018 semifinal before losing the final to France.
FC Dallas has one more game, Saturday, May 23 at 8:30 p.m. in Colorado, before the MLS breaks for the World Cup, which begins Thursday, June 11.
