Riyadh – Mubasher: Najran Cement Company has invited shareholders to an ordinary general assembly meeting (EGM), scheduled for 26 August 2026.
The meeting, which will be held virtually via the Tadawulaty system at 18:30, requires a quorum of shareholders representing at least 25% of the company's SAR 1.70 billion capital.
The agenda includes a vote on the independent auditor’s report for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025. According to the disclosure, the auditor issued a qualified opinion regarding SAR 1.94 billion in property, plant, and equipment.
The auditor noted an inability to obtain sufficient evidence to verify management's assumptions in an impairment study, despite the company reporting a net profit of SAR 36.75 million for the year.
Shareholders will also vote on authorizing the board of directors to grant licenses under Paragraph (1) of Article 27 of the Companies Law for a period of one year.
Electronic voting for the assembly items is scheduled to begin on 22 August 2026. The company noted that during 2025, it purchased 5.24 million treasury shares for a total value of SAR 43.85 million.
