Riyadh - Mubasher: Makkah Construction and Development Company has officially announced the appointment of its Chairman and Vice Chairman, alongside the formation of its specialized board committees, marking the start of a new governance cycle.

The decision, finalized during a board of directors meeting held on 16 June, follows the resolutions of the Ordinary General Assembly conducted earlier in the month. The newly appointed board and its subsequent committees will serve a four-year term that commenced on 10 June 2026 and is scheduled to conclude on 9 June 2030.

The board of directors has confirmed the appointment of Saleh Mohammed bin Laden as Chairman of the Board in a non-executive capacity.

Serving alongside him, Abdurraouf Mohammed Manna has been appointed as the Vice Chairman, also as a non-executive member.

To ensure specialized oversight of various corporate functions, the board approved the formation of four primary committees. The Nomination and Remuneration Committee will be chaired by Ghassan Yasser Shalabi, with Ziad Othman Al Hogail, Turki Ibrahim Al Qunibit, and Fahad Mousa Al Zahrani serving as members. Notably, Al Zahrani joins the committee as an external member from outside the board.

Makkah Construction’s shareholders recently approved cash dividends totaling SAR 300 million for 2025.
