ASUS Prime AP304 PC Case Brings Curved Glass and Tool-Free GPU Installation

The ASUS Prime AP304 is a new mid-tower PC case that combines a curved glass design with improved cooling and easier graphics card installation. ASUS has built the case around a raised upper chamber that allows cool air to move from the lower section toward the graphics card and other major components.

The case uses a curved tempered glass side panel that gives users a wide view of the internal hardware from the front and side. Since the front section focuses on visibility, ASUS has moved the main cooling support to the side, where users can install three fans or a liquid cooler.

Cooling and Hardware Support

The Prime AP304 supports radiators up to 360mm at the side and top, while the rear section also includes space for additional cooling hardware. Users can install fans at the bottom to improve airflow around the graphics card, while an integrated LED strip works with ASUS Aura Sync lighting controls.

ASUS has also added a patented graphics card slot clamp that secures the GPU without screws. Users can place the graphics card into the PCIe slot and lock it into position using the rear clamp, while an internal support bracket helps reduce movement and pressure on larger cards.

The case supports graphics cards up to 420mm long, although the internal support bracket works with cards measuring up to 360mm. This gives builders enough space for most modern high-end graphics cards.

Cable management should also remain straightforward because the rear chamber provides around 33mm of clearance and includes a dedicated routing section. ASUS has added two mounting positions for 2.5-inch SATA SSDs in the same area.

The ASUS Prime AP304 will launch in black and white finishes, although ASUS has not confirmed the price or release date.
