Commanders’ Daniels to star in third season of Netflix’s ‘Quarterback’
by Liam Griffin · The Washington TimesCommanders fans won’t have to wait much longer to see franchise quarterback Jayden Daniels on their TVs. The dual-threat signal-caller will star in the third season of Netflix’s “Quarterback” documentary series, the streamer announced on Wednesday.
Daniels will be joined by journeyman quarterback Joe Flacco, Tennessee Titans’ No. 1 pick Cam Ward and Tampa Bay Buccaneers captain Baker Mayfield.
The series followed the quarterbacks throughout the 2025 season, with a focus on their on- and off-field exploits. NFL Hall of Famer Peyton Manning serves as an executive producer, as does Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes.
The 2025 campaign was a rough one for Daniels after a historic rookie season that saw Washington earn its first NFC championship game appearance in more than 30 years. Daniels, the 2024 Offensive Rookie of the Year, played in just seven games last season.
His efficiency plummeted as he played through elbow, knee and hamstring injuries. The LSU product ended the year with 1,262 yards, eight passing touchdowns and three interceptions. He added just 278 yards as a runner.
The third season of “Quarterback” will premiere on July 14.
