Tom Selleck says he stays quiet on politics to keep fans happy

In an interview with CNN’s “The Story Is With Elex Michaelson” published this week, Mr. Selleck toured the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley, California, and reflected on his friendship with Ronald and Nancy Reagan, according to TheWrap. Asked for his take on President Trump, Mr. Selleck said, “Well, he’s certainly a mixed bag.”

The 81-year-old actor said he prefers to keep his political opinions to himself. 

“I stay out of the current political world,” he said. “Why piss off half the country when you’re in the business of entertaining people?”
