Detectives in Santa Monica seek to find the supplier of drugs in Presley Gerber’s overdose death
by Juliet La Sala · The Washington TimesDetectives in Santa Monica, California, are trying to uncover the supplier of drugs that killed supermodel Cindy Crawford’s son, Presley Gerber, in an overdose at a rehab facility on Sunday.
The Santa Monica Police Department told the Los Angeles Times that there is no indication of foul play and that the investigation into his apparent overdose is in its early stages.
Mr. Gerber, 27, checked into Resolutions Living, a $7.7 million, seven-bedroom mental health recovery residence, just hours before officers responded to calls reporting cardiac arrest and an overdose at about 9:35 a.m. Sunday.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office performed an autopsy Monday, but the cause and manner of death — including toxicology results — are pending.
