by Juliet La Sala · The Washington TimesRonda Rousey announced her second retirement from MMA after defeating fighting icon Gina Carano in a Netflix special event this weekend, stating she wants to focus on growing her family, news outlets report.
Ms. Rousey, 39, defeated Ms. Carano, 44, in 17 seconds with an armbar submission. Afterward, she credited Ms. Carano as the person who inspired her to enter the sport and the only one who could have lured her back into the octagon.
