Kuntunu hwan aa: Nollywood actor Ray Emodi says he is going back to acting after music slapped sense into him

Nigerian actor, Ray Emodi, has disclosed that plans are far advanced to return to acting, after none of the songs he released became hits.

Speaking in a video sighted by GH Page, the Nollywood actor disclosed that “I stopped acting towards the end of last year,” revealing that “I acted from 2017 till last year, about 300 productions including feature films, short films and TV shows. No vacations.”

Speaking on why he had to quit acting, the actor shared that “So I got tired because if you do something too much, you just get tired and sick of it,” revealing that “I needed that break to find the urge to act again. I still have love for acting”.

According to Ray Emodi, “I’m coming back now, but I’m not going to overdo it again. I’ll do it in a way that I’m satisfied creatively and not exhausted physically”.

Ray noted that if there is anyone to be blamed, “I have only myself to blame. I didn’t handle the load properly”.
