Police release image of man after teenage girl sexually assaulted in city centre

Officers would like to speak to the man pictured as they believe he may have information that will help with their investigations into the incident, which took place at 1am on Friday, November 15.
Police say a teenage girl was sexually assaulted by a man on the bridge which crosses St Alkmund's Way near the Leonardo Hotel. A spokesperson for the force said: "Officers are appealing for the public’s help to trace a man in connection with a sexual assault in Derby.
"The incident occurred at around 1am on 15 November when a teenage girl was sexually assaulted by a man on the footbridge, known as the Rainbow Bridge, that crosses St Alkmund’s Way near to the Leonardo Hotel. We are keen to speak to the man pictured in connection with the incident as he may have information that could help with our investigation.
"If you recognise him, or were in the area at the time and have any information, dashcam or CCTV footage, contact us quoting the reference 24*681312."
