Thailand’s 35th Army Border Guard Force has stepped up patrols and surveillance along the Thai-Myanmar border to prevent illegal crossings, according to reports. The force’s mobile unit, in coordination with Company No. 3506, has been conducting patrols and show-of-force operations along border routes, illegal crossing points, natural passageways and the banks of the Thaungyin River.
