Mr Hayatu-Deen announced his decision via a post on X, stating he would not be present at the result declaration scheduled for Tuesday.

The contest featured former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, and banker-turned-politician Mohammed Hayatudeen as the three major contenders.

Hayatu-Deen, who said he personally witnessed some of these infractions, made this know in a post on his official X account
