Mrs Adelabu-John Paul, a younger sister to the immediate past Minister of Power, and her twin sons were kidnapped in the early hours of 3 June in Ibadan.

The opposition party on Wednesday called on Governor Seyi Makinde to work closely with security agencies and other stakeholders to address what it described as a worsening security situation in the state.

It described the incident as a further sign of worsening insecurity in the state.
