Aegean Airlines carried a record 2,011,000 passengers in July 2026, surpassing the 2-million mark for the first time in a single month despite Middle East flight cancellations and higher fuel costs. Both domestic and international routes grew by 5.3%.

Ryanair said its monthly passenger numbers reached an all-time high of more than 22 million in July.
