The suspension means that Bajrang Punia won't be able to return to wrestling during this period and will be barred from applying for a coaching job abroad. NADA had first suspended Punia on the same charge on April 23 before the wrestler had it revoked on May 31 till the issuance of the notice.

Olympics bronze medallist Bajrang Punia has been handed a 4-year suspension by the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) for refusing to provide a urine sample during the selection trials for the national team. Bajrang was given a provisional suspension in April this year.
