97 Myanmar nationals released after serving sentences in Thailand repatriated to Kawthaung
A total of 97 Myanmar nationals who had completed their prison sentences in Thailand have been repatriated to Kawthaung, Myanmar. The Myanmar migrant workers arrived in Kawthaung from Ranong, Thailand, on September 10. Officials welcomed them, conducted the necessary checks, and made arrangements for them to return to their respective hometowns. The group comprised 80 men and 17 women who had served sentences in 14 provinces in southern Thailand.
