The President’s Office has announced the appointment of Union Minister U Tin Aung San as National Security Advisor, according to Order No. 47/2026. The order states that U Tin Aung San, currently serving as Union Minister at the President’s Office, has been assigned the additional role to provide comprehensive analysis and advice on national security matters to the President and the President’s Office.
