May 7 (UPI) -- The producers of The Book of Mormon have announced that performances of the Tony-winning musical have been canceled through May 17 because of a fire at Broadway's Eugene O'Neill Theatre.

The Book of Mormon cancels more performances as they begin repairs to the theater after an electrical fire broke out earlier this week.
