July 13 (UPI) -- An Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent fatally shot a Colombian man in Maine on Monday, marking the latest migrant death amid the Trump administration's aggressive immigration-enforcement campaign and less than a week after a migrant was killed in Houston.

A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent fatally shot a motorist in Houston on Tuesday while officers were trying to stop the ​man's vehicle, the agency said in a statement.

July 8 (UPI) -- An Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent has fatally shot a Mexican national accused of attempting to run over a federal officer during a "targeted enforcement operation," the Department of Homeland Security said.

Authorities have said that the Mexican national was killed while evading arrest amid calls for an independent review of the evidence.
