Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Negotiations with Iran should include Tehran paying compensation for damages and deaths it has caused over the years, President Donald Trump said as he lashed out at the country amid stalled talks over reopening the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran says it is finalising a Strait of Hormuz agreement with Oman as regional fighting persists. The draft deal could affect global energy flows while Sudan's war deepens fears for the Meroe pyramids.
