Four days after Tamil Nadu's assembly election results were announced, uncertainty over government formation continues as actor-politician Joseph Vijay's TVK party remains short of a majority in the state's assembly.

Kamal Haasan said Vijay, as leader of the single largest party, should be invited to form the government in Tamil Nadu. He said the majority must be tested on the Assembly floor, warning that any delay disrespects the public mandate.
