A passenger ferry caught fire near Coron in the Philippines, killing 76 people and leaving 13 missing. Investigators are probing the captain, crew and onboard safety measures as survivors describe a rapidly spreading blaze.

The death toll from the ferry fire off Coron, Palawan has risen to 35, with 43 survivors and 53 people still missing, the Philippine Coast Guard said Saturday.
