Britain raised its terror threat level to severe after antisemitic stabbings in north-west London. Officials said broader Islamist and extreme right-wing threats were rising, while extra security funding was announced for Jewish institutions.

The Joint Terrorism Analysis Center said the terror level has been raised to severe, which means that an attack is highly likely in the next six months.
