New-Delhi: The southwest monsoon is likely to reach Kerala on May 26, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its forecast on Friday. In a press

IMD forecasts southwest monsoon to begin in Kerala on May 26, slightly earlier than the usual June 1 onset.

The forecast carries a margin of error of plus or minus four days, meaning the monsoon could arrive anywhere between May 22 and May 30.
