A Goa court on Monday extended by five days the police custody of Saurabh Luthra and Gaurav Luthra, owners of the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub where a devastating fire on December 6 resulted in 25 deaths.

A court in Goa on Wednesday remanded Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, co-owners of the nightclub Birch by Romeo Lane, to five days of police custody in connection with the deadly fire that claimed 25 lives and left several others injured on December 6.

The Goa Police arrested Ajay Gupta, a sleeping partner of club owners Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, on Wednesday.
