Toronto police say a pedestrian has been pronounced dead after they were struck by a driver in a vehicle, near Sheppard Avenue East.

A child who went missing from Vayyalikaval on Thursday evening was safely found near Deviya Park by the police, bringing relief to the family and community. The Vayyalikaval police reported that they responded swiftly to locate the missing child after being alerted by the family. ​
