Amnesty International reports UAE-made armored vehicles equipped with French defense systems captured by Sudanese army in civil war.

More than 61,000 people have died in Khartoum state, where the fighting began last year, researchers say.

Amnesty International said Thursday it has identified several UAE-made armoured personnel carriers on the ground in Sudan after verifying pictures shared on social media showing the vehicles captured or destroyed by the Sudanese army.
