The Cabinet will meet this evening to discuss supports for hauliers, farmers and the fishing sector amid the ongoing protests across the country over high fuel costs.

Hundreds of petrol stations in the Republic of Ireland have run out of fuel as the protests and blockades continued for a fifth day.
